traffic etc. |
Each horse is
treated as an individual with large (4mx5m)
stable, and individual fully pastured (lucerne/clover/Veld/Velt
grasses) paddock separated by 5m raceway to
avoid contact with other horses.
Our daily
horse routine is as follows:
Horses are given small hard feed in stables
at 7am while rugging is changed for that
day‘s weather.
Horses then
led to day paddocks and have breakfast of
hay/oaten hay depending on needs of horse.
Horses
generally fed lunch of hay/oaten hay at noon
depending on paddock feed time of year etc.
Stables
cleaned at 8am before morning training
sessions with our resident Lipizzaner
colts/stallions.
Arenas
harrowed either at lunch time or late
afternoon to ensure you always work on a
level, correct footing.
Horses come
into stables at about 5pm for hard feed and
hay.
Horses
checked at 10pm and we can offer a webcam to
your stable or email digital pictures as you
require.

We are not
open to the public as such and riders who
keep their horses with us are assured of
always being our top priority, having a
harrowed arena to work on, hot coffee or
cold drinks on tap and understanding that
money can't buy.
Our care of
your horse includes individual feeding
regime, rugging, worming, supervising
farrier.
We intend to
hold clinics with overseas instructors,
including riders from the Spanish riding
School, once we have determined your needs.

Your only
other costs are shoeing - about $60-$70
every five weeks and any veterinary
expenses.
Please phone
to arrange inspection and discuss your
individual requirements.
